An erotic-horror lesbian drama set in a cruel fantasy world.
After their party’s healer is cursed with a mysterious illness, Malen and Valina— a paladin and magician duo— must venture into a demonic forest in order to save her. Tensions rise as Malen ruminates over her own past, as well as her and Valina’s relationship; why is it different ever since Lorel joined their party? Can it be mended again now that she’s out of the picture? Or will The Heart’s trials destroy them both?
The Forest of Tangled Threads is set in the same world as Fairy Unfortunate, but follows a completely different scenario and cast of characters. It can be enjoyed without any of the other story’s context.
This is a linear story that contains 42k words, ~30 CGs, and many strange and intense themes. A full list of CWs can be found within the game itself.

ough, it hurt a lot... malen felt a lot like looking in the mirror and not liking what I saw. all the characters were super well written and the art an music fit perfectly, excellently done

Really fantastic!! Beta reading was delightful BUT SEEING IT IN GAME WAS A DIFFERENT BEAST ALL TOGETHER. My favorite is honestly.. I really loved everyone. The sprite movements were cute and got the energy of the characters off really well.
The CGs ended up beautiful and the UI as well (as always). I am really happy that you were able to finish the project. It really was a (delightful) experience!!!
